New To Chickens - Thoughts on my Coop?

:welcome
Glad to have you here!
I live in Michigan and none of my coops are insulated, all of our chickens are cold hardy and unless we get an extremely severe winter I have no need to offer plastic or straw bales for winter wind protection.
Ventilation is crucial. We have windows that open plus open areas toward the top that are covered with hardware cloth.
Would love to see the inside of your coop, it's beautiful! What are your plans for the run or will you be free ranging?

Welcome to BYC Broody with chicks.jpeg

The coop is nice!

Will you be adding a protected run?

G'Day from down under Sadoll.....:frow Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

BYC has Topic of the Week discussions which I have found to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining; so definitely worth checking out.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
