New to Chickens

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
The only previous experience I have had with chickens was visiting my Grandparents fortnightly and when visiting my cousin monthly. I would say I am very new to chicken keeping as I only got my small flock in October this year.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have seven chickens but will be adding three more tomorrow.

(3) What breeds do you have?
I have four Light Sussex and three Wyandotte chickens (1 partridge, 1 gold lace blue and a silver lace) I am getting three Barnevelder chickens tomorrow.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I searched the App Store for backyard chickens.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I have many other hobbies which include gardening, photography, sewing and embroidery, and cooking.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am currently a Stay at home Mum to 6 boys ranging in ages from 19 down to 1. We have a Kelpie, a Maltese Poodle, a kitten and 6 goldfish.
