How long after she showed up did she start sitting on that nest? Did you candle any of the eggs your took from her to see if they were developing? If they are viable, give them back to her and let her finish what she started.

Hello and thank you. We were bonding for about 2 month, after that she laid her first eggs but most of them broke/ cracked. She really wasn't as focused or brooding like she Is now. No I didn't candle the eggs because they were all dried out and there Isn't a rooster around so they were not fertilized. Thank you for responding DobieLover.

Can you buy some day old chicks to foster to her ?
