New to chickens

Hi, this is my first time hatching, sadly only 1 hatched, we have more in the incubator so she won’t be alone( hopefully)
I was just wondering if anyone could help!
In her brooder I have a brooder plate, but does she need any other heat source? She is indoors so there’s no drafts and it’s a constant temp

Hi Sarah and welcome to BYC. The brooder plate will be fine. The aim is to provide a gradient of temperate in the brooder so the chicks can retreat to the warmth under the brooder plate and then exit the brooder plate once they have warmed up.

Thanks for the great welcome, our second batch are due today, we can see 4 eggs moving but we are not sure about the rest as we had a power cut Through the night and they went down to 28c ,
