Hi, I am not new to BYC but am new to Geese. I no longer have my chicken girls

got a divorce and could not take with me, thankfully the ex was able to take care of them and they will always be in my heart. I was able to see them but after a while they seemed to have forgotten me, which is understandable.

On to a happy subject...Geese! I met someone and am living with him, well the sweetheart surprised me with a gosling about 2 weeks ago! I named her Lucy, which i just found out is a common name for geese but its ok. At lease i hope its a she lol. My boyfriend got her from the local feed store. Well 3 days later i went back to the feed store and got Lucy a friend, her name is Elly! I am not sure what breed they are but the feed store told me African.
As usual BYC has helped me tremendously in learning about geese...thank you all!
