New to hatching what is normal behavior

The first chick seems to be pecking at the second chick!
They'll sort it out, e few days difference maybe worry a little, this close, they should be fine. You can tap your finger in the feed, mimicking the mama, sometimes i think they are just trying to eat, and the other one's feathers look good The main thing over the next few days is make sure they start eating, drinking, and that their buts don't get clogged.

Do not open that incubator, you run the risk of shrink wrapping and killing others still hatching, any that are internally pipped, the chick will be fine in there while the rest hatch out. They will do a lot of sleeping after they get themselves detached from the egg shell. That egg yolk they absorbed will keep em good for 2-3 days. Once hatch is completed move them to the brooder and show them where the food and water is.

Congratulations by the way on the 2 already hatched

Once baby has found its feet and dried out, you can move it to the brooder. You will not shrink wrap or hurt anything by quickly moving babies out. I always remove babies when they are ready to be moved, none have ever shrink wrapped.

Now I am nervous, one is piping in the wrong spot, way above the line I made for the air sac! I am going to watch it closely. It's going to be a long sleepless night!
Search the articles on here, it's a fine line between harm and help. I am sure some more experience people will give you a better idea of when to intervene than I can.

It's is pecking at it's feet. It must thinks it's worms. I got these chicks parents as babies in February. I have just never hatched them before.
