New to raising chickens

I've had my little nuggets for about two-three weeks now and I am totally new to chickens. I currently have 3 Silver Laced Wyandottes (one who is growing but not getting feathers!??), 3 Araucanas all looking very different, 2 of the friendliest Brahmas, 3 Olive Eggers, 2 little fluffy Orpingtons, and one friendly Barred Rock.
I am currently raising them in a large box in my basement and they are all doing well.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.

They will be practicing flying and either fly out, or fall out and be unable to get back inside. Do you have a wire top to prevent that from happening?
