New to raising chickens

I tried making a bandaid wrap but she didn't react well and her legs swelled. I ordered some splayed leg braces but they won't be here till Tuesday. Will that be too late? I'm afraid to wrap them due to her reaction.
Your braces you bought probably won't fit well either now, but even if they do, you need to do something today!

If you don't have vet wrap, I'd go buy some at a farm store. That's something you may eventually need to have in the future of raising chickens anyway.

That brace needs to be down nearer her foot where it's not swelling. If using a band-aide, depending on how wide, cut it lengthwise so it's about 1/2" thick. @TwoCrows linked you an article on how.

She isn't going to react well but she has to have this done asap or she'll be crippled for life.

I had wrapped too high and she fell over in her water and couldn't get up. I've since watched many videos and figured out a better way using medical wrap. I'm going to try the straw and hair tie method if this doesn't help. Hopefully I'll be able to post a healed pic soon.

Been keeping them wrapped with the tape I used for a broke toe. This is one Feisty chick. Am I doing it wrong she kicks it off almost immediately

The binding is supposed to keep her feet closer together, so they are both straight under her. Look at other chicks for reference. Hers should look like theirs.

Maybe put it back on her and try the cup trick at the same time. Find a cup that she can just touch the bottom with. Use folded paper towels if you need a bit more height. Find something to cover the cup that you'd put a hole in the size of her head; a piece of towel, cardboard, etc. If she can keep those on for three to four days, that's all this takes usually.
