New to this please help? I think all my eggs died

They are all Brown a light brown to medium brown. There was 1 ee egg that was a light tint of a greenish white and I don't remember seeing any veins when I candled them. But we shall see tomorrow or Tuesday if any chicks hatch but I highly doubt it.

So sorry you're having such a bad experience with this hatch.

I hope some of the remaining eggs surprise you and you get at least a couple little chickies.

Good luck! I know how nerve wracking it is!!!! I hope they make it! :) I thought for sure I lost all of mine until they hatched so you never know!!!!

That's so true today is day 20 and tomorrow is day 21 so we shall see when I get up tomorrow if there are any chickies. But my heart is telling me that there won't be any.

Me too this is my 3rd broody this year my Buff duck went broody in July and gave up 2 days before the ducklings were supposed to hatch. I put them under a heat lamp because I don't have an incubator they all ended up dying. Then in August my Buff Brahma went broody she was sitting on 23 eggs most of them were no good only 6 were developing. I moved her because I didn't like where she was she gave up after day 12. I Was not expecting her to give up. But I also didn't have any money to invest in an incubator. So I think I really need to buy one as a backup plan.

So I just got home took 2 more rotten eggs out candled 2 I see viens so there is still hope for 2 chickies. :fl my fingers are crossed and I'll be praying the next couple of days.

Good luck!!! I'll keep your chickies in my thoughts and prayers! I had a chick die this morning it had no injuries so I think that she choked or suffocated

I hope they make it to the end and hatch into healthy, bouncy chicks!

Thank you Lany3535 and Aphrael for the encouraging words now I'm a little more hopeful for at least 2 baby chickies is there a way you can tell what day they are on? Now I'm starting to think they won't hatch till this weekend.

There are WONDERFUL candling pics in that article. If you can candle yours, you can compare them to the pics to get an idea of what day they are on. Other than that I don't know of any way to tell, except knowing what day they were set. Oftentimes, when they are really close to hatching, the broody will get even more intent on setting and won't leave the nest at all, even to eat or drink.
