I wonder that, if there were trophy points for highly rated articles, we would see many more being posted?
I don't think the version of XenForo that we're currently using will be able to provide that. The article section is an add on independent of XF.
XF2 provides a reaction score, which is a composite of positive and negative reactions from your content. It's possible that if we ever switch to that, we may be able to employ this then.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not convinced that the articles add on can be connected to our trophy system.

It can, and it already is, with regards to the trophies you get for rating articles. A trophy could be added for article likes received, but not ratings received. The reaction score wouldn't include article ratings.
True. And then there are also sometimes people who go through and give one star ratings for no reason. So, it wouldn't be a foolproof system
That could be an enhancement request for the XenForo developers…

The Article Management System isn't developed by XF, it's an add-on.

I saw. But it isn't independent of the XF instance, it needs XF to run.
