yeah I was thinking that also.
however ive been keeping up with your post and I find it very interesting, I don't agree with animal torcher, but I don't think this is in the same catagory as that, They made us do way worse in science class.
I really like the way your listening to people observations and thinking about ways to fix the problems with your current methods it shows that you are a very intellegent young man. I hope it all works out for ya and the chick. Good luck, Sandy
Kudos to you for trying this expirement! Be sure to take pictures and videos! I always wanted to incubate an egg and open it up on day 10. I had a broody hatching eggs for a long time. I didn't think her eggs were fertile so I cracked one open and out came a fully formed chick that kept opening its beak. I felt sick LOL
I do wish I was as smart as you are the incubating process fascinates me....is it cruel...I dont know...not any more than wringing a neck or making a chicken live in a tyson farm all their life....I mean have you ever smelled a chicken farm on a hot day in Okla?I am watching this thread with lots of interest and even those that think its cruel keep coming back and posting so they think its interesting also
not everybody is ever gonna like you in this world...but as a homeschooling Mom I like your thinking process...
