I feel for you. I spent my first paychecks on duck eggs and stuff for the dog lol... If I hadn't starting incubating, I'd have sent you some! I do not need all these eggs... and oh boy... if I were so lucky as to have everything hatch??
I'd have 10 chickens, 3 rouens, 7 pekins, and 15 WHs... not including the 3pekins, 2 cayugas, 1 rouen, and 1 WH that I already have out in the pen... Oh boy!! Now I'm excited. LOL...

LOL, I know what ya mean. i have 13 adults out in the pen and about 30 eggs in tha bator. Im going to save up and start buying eggs in february like crazy lol

This is my first hatch, so it's really exciting for me. It's the coolest thing being able to see the embryos swimming around in the eggs. I love it! I'm hoping the WH will mate the pekin. She justs started laying, so it might be a little while before they're fertilized. If she does start laying some fertile eggs, I can send you some.

If she is laying and he is doing his thing you should have fertile eggs right now. I just got my runner drake and im aalready putting my cayuga and magpie eggs in the bator.

She just started laying, so her eggs aren't quite fully developed yet. The last one was shell-less, but she hasn't laid in two days. She layed 4 eggs in three days and then stopped, unless she is just laying later in the day. I'm not quite sure. I just started offering her oyster shell, but she doesn't seem to know what to do with it yet lol... She's such a doll though!

I'm curious to see what a runner x cayuga will look like. Make sure you take some pictures!!

Ill take lots of pictures! Ive only ever gotten one shelless egg,and it wasnt really shellless, it was just... a soft shell lol.

It was like a shell had started to develop but never finished. She didn't lay yesterday or today, so I don't know what is going on. The one that was shell-less or soft shelled had almost a tube like thing coming off the back. It was quite strange.
