Sarotoo shrugged. "I haven't really thought about it, I've just thought about joining one. And plus I don't think I have the bird in me to be a leader." He shrugged and smiled

"I bet you could care for a whole flock. But, some roosters just aren't the type to fight for their rank." Prim said. "Now, that was a little rude. Don't act like a snot." Maran told Prim.

Degan looked at the two hens. Then said," There are beneficial reasons that the dominate roosters allow subordinate roosters in his flock. That way there are more eyes to help prevent harm to their hens. It's not a lowly existence, I'm more then happy to help him keep his girls safe." he explained to them.

"That's good." Prim said.

"Well, I hope I'm not keeping you from finding a flock that could be your flock." King Tut told Degan.

"I don't mind being in you flock, I'm just a strange rooster. I'm fine not being top chicken. That is if you don't mind having me in your flock?" He said, then smiled at King Tut.

"I don't mind at all." He said, "But I just thought you might want a flock of your own, but when the hens chicks hatch the babies usually leave and either find a rooster to make a flock or find a flock to be in, so that's usually when roosters create a flock because it's the easiest." King Tut said.

Sarotoo laughed, "It's fine."

May sat quietly on her nest of eggs

Layla was nervous, she hadn't been part of a flock since she left the nest. She had been hovering around this flock for a while. Just watching how they did things.

Farley watched all the other ducks fly easily, he became jealous of this. He wanted to fly with the rest of the ducks, because of his heavy breed he couldn't leave the ground. He just followed the other ducks around watching when they flew trying to pick up ways to fly

"Are you excited to have lots of chicks grow up and make their own flock? Finding their own way?" Maran asked Sarotoo. "Though, I know every rooster gets sour when he finds out how any roosters hatched." She added.

"I would love to have many chick's of any gender, but it would break my heart to watch them go, not trying to sound girly or anything." Sarotoo said kindly

"Yes, for some it is hard, but if you make them stay they never know how to do what nature wants them to." Maran said. "Though I'm not argueing."

"I know, I mean like it would make me happy to see them start or join another flock and start a family. It's just..." Sarotoo couldn't think of the words.

Farley sat in a cool little pool swimming about
