She plucked more breast feathers and made a bed on the ground. "Lay on that, I can't bear to see you lay on the ground." Velvet said sweetly.

Sarotoo inched himself onto the feathers. He muzzled her and thanked her. He lay down his leg outstretched behind him. It still bled a bit but it was beginning to scab up

"I'll look after him." King Tut said. "Sarotoo, you are a part of our flock and will not deny our help." He told him.

Degan watched them go. Thinking to himself, he knew exactly what Sarotoo needed and he knew just where to find it. So he headed off to get it.

Coming upon the old tree, that had a giant hole in the side of it. He climbed into the hole, looking for what he wanted. He ignored the bees as they got angry at his intrusion and tried to stung him. His feathers was good padding they couldn't sting him. So he grabbed a chunk of the beehive with his beak, making sure, the wax cells contained honey. He remembered that honey applied to wounds would disinfect an aid in healing. So he ran as fast as he could without tripping to help Sarotoo.
