New Year Block swap

Please put me in this one too, I have so much fun doing this, mine will probably have few brown tones in it. My earth tones go the other way. I hope no one minds.

I've really enjoyed working on this one so far because I'm just doing a block at a time and each one will be different. Its a good way to explore which blocks I enjoy making and which I find more bothersome. I should be working on some of my extra blue/yellow blocks so I can put together a quilt top when we get our swap blocks back, but I'm not being timed, right?

I have been searching the web for interesting easy but hard looking pattens. I have been thinking all along some kind of drunkards path unless I find something else I like better. One struck my fancy today just need to think a little on it to see if I can come up w/ an easier way to cut it out.

I've spent some time online looking for a block for this also. I'm really wanting to find a simple star that works in 4 colors, there are several options but I'm having too much fun looking at other ppl's quilts online to pick one just yet.

Well I figured out a fairly simple way to cut the pieces for this square I am thinking about. So I will probably try up a block or two to see how much I like/don't like them. The pattern is cool in that the building block can be re-arranged into tons and tons of different looks, but it will be made out of lots of small pieces. So we'll see how that goes!
