New Year Block swap

I think I will mail my mug rug friday. anyone else ready to ship? no hurry just curious

if anyone is ready to ship the blocks let me know so I can keep an eye out for them, no hurry just FYI. You know me I like to stalk my mail man, I don't usually check my mail everyday unless I know something is expected. Which reminds me I have two items that are not here yet,

one is my leg warmers, this cold snap will be over and we will be in a heat wave by the time I get them,

the other is a stack and whack book, anyone try this method yet?

I love it and have made several quilts and have about 7 or so diff fabrics in my stash, bought specifially for that method.

THIS FAbric was to heavy to peice, so I MACHINE zig zagged the edges

oh wow so pretty, my son has met a man in Virginia who does quilting and is wanting to clean up his stash of PHD's (projects half done)and fabric that as he says he will never get to and has asked me what I'm interested in course I said anything and everything so the first box is supposed to be on it's way soon I'm so excited to see what he has put into it. As I have so many projects in mind.
Now I have a question: When making flying geese, the blocks that you sew on the corners should they intersect cross each other or meet at the "V" point? If I need to post a pic I can.

Lol that moment when you wish you had done the straight edge basket pattern..

I've noticed that when they show the drawing on the Quilters Cache the flying geese look messed up. The point where your triangles meet should cross by at leat 1/4 inch. That's so when you consume the 1/4 inch in the seam you have a nice sharp point. If they just met then you would show a gap of1/4 inch. Hope that makes sense. Feel free to chime in anyone if you can be more clear!

@RustyHen did you find the Mystery quilt info for the first blocks? It took me a little bit wow it was interesting if not look on her http://darlee.ca/ website and in the right hand corner is a key click on it and then find where you need to put in your password and you will find the instructions, if you have problems I can e-mail a copy of what I have downloaded.

Question for anyone: I have noticed that in all of the quilts the binding is always made of one fabric is it a cardinal sin to create the binding out of several different strips? for a rainbow binding? Or will it cause some sort of problem with the finished product? Has anyone ever tried it? Will it be not visually pleasing?
