yes it ise It's a great feeling when their done isn't it!
kats. I had forgotten that we called it that, my DH being a retired military weather Observer insists we call it rime frost. It is a very think fog that freezes to everything and turns it to sparkling diamond like crystals. We do have them over here on the dry side occasionly( what we have coats everything in clear ice) but usually more in the coastal inland valleys. They come in the early fall most often.@RustyHen your in Oregon, question, my mother used to talk about her father taking her to see the silver thaw exactly what is that? Have you seen it? something to do with ice. I can't remember and seeing Kassaundra's ice pics and the pics of Niagara falls frozen, well just the ice formed from the spray of the falls it just brought it to mind.
I guess I should have said she grew up in Portland. Why I thought of it I don't know why she just said it was really beautiful. Funny how things trigger a memorykats. Same here I've always heard it called hoarfrost. We call it a hoarfrost!
I don't see the "twisting" in the tree. Love the addition of the mountain, simple but adds so much. Yes the purse does look like it was triangle. Does the 9 patch go with the applique blocks?
I got this far and ran out of black thread for the purse, It is the purse I carried in my senior year of High School -mid 1960's- That would be my 12th year of school for non-state siders. It was triangular shape I hope you can tell that.
I don't like how my tree turned out it was fine until iron down must have twisted it to the left a bit. I will be more careful of that next time.
