just went thru and candled all eggs today, day 9 i think, down to 26 that look to be good

OK, I screwed up! My eggs go in lock down tomorrow. So my hatch should be finishing up New years if they hatch. There is 60 A&M eggs in there. I haven't candled so we will see. ?If I'm lucky enough to get another 50% hatch I will be happy!

I had 15 eggs due today and only one hatched, not a good sign. I get alot of eggs from two of my White quail and I dont think their man o the house has been doing his job

Is it already time to lock those down lol, I REALLY need to stop doing staggered hatches lol. I have a feeling I wont get many babies out of these eggs since the last batch was due today and I still only have one that hatched yesterday. I will be so glad when my babies that I have already hatched get big enough to start laying, I have 7 that are 3 weeks old so I dont have far to go.

ok just an update, I float tested the eggs I had that were due today, I know we should wait for a late bloomer and all but I decided to go ahead and float test them, they didnt even give us a wiggle. I broke them open carefully in case there were chicks there and 0 viable eggs, we did get one baby out of the eggs and it appears to be a tibetan.

Just locked down. Hope this incubator I tossed together works. Humidity is 65% and temp is 99.8

I just found this thread. I have about 10/13 coturnix growing in the incubator for New Years! I think i set the them the right day.

These will be my first quail. I still can't imagine how tiny they will be!
