New Years Eve hatch along! Can anyone join me??

Came home yesterday (day 20) & found that I had 3 more hatched to make a total of 18 !!! Got up this morning (day21) & found that there are 3 more that hatched overnight, so i'm up to 21 hatched out of the 48 that made it to lockdown. Guess I will leave the rest in for awhile longer & see what happens.

Lets make that total 22 now & another zipping now

I'm down to 11 eggs out of 50. Today is only day 18, so it should finish great! Had one more hatch in the night and several eggs are pipped.

I ended up having to help one today. It had pipped early yesterday, but my humidity dropped in the night, and it shrink wrapped. Seems O.K. now. His shell and membrane was like leather!

Lost one. It' pipped yesterday, but the egg had gotten rolled over by the chicks, and I didn't notice. It seems it just quit. It never got any further than the original pip. Never started to zip.

9 eggs left, and one starting to zip as I type.

Well I got my Master Bator going. I have a problem. It is so well insulated that the fan motor is driving the temp up. I am using a Dayton 1550 RPM fan. Anyone know of a good fan to use that doesn't produce a lot of heat?

Okay I might be done at 23, going to float test the rest of them here in a few to see for sure. Didnt have near as many hatch as I thought I would out of the number of eggs I had in the bator. Oh well I'm happy with the ones that made it & its time to order a few more eggs.

Mine are done...46 out of 60...not bad for winter, outside, on the ground, no light added, eggs.

Ted, hopefully you get your master bator fan issues fixed...and get back in there!

Congrats to everyone else on their hatches!
