I have a chick - one that I didn't even realize had pipped! I got really lucky. My son asked to go upstairs to play his computer game, and I decided to take a shower while he did that. The 'bator is in the bathroom, and I noted that one easter egger egg was rocking. I hadn't seen any movement in it before. I took my shower, about ten minutes, and when I finished the dang thing had zipped! I ran and got my camera and snapped away as the little guy hatched out.

well I agree with not completely giving up. Right now if there's nothing moving or anything pipping that means if/when it does it'll be that much more happy of a surprise right? And so if you're on day 20 & they're quiet perhaps they're just quiet resting for the big enterance. maybe they're sneeky & move when you're not looking. LOL And I thought it was day 21 that their suppose to start pipping/hatching right? Maybe take a deep breath and then a nice glass of wine while you wait now?

Attack Chicken, are your eggs large ones? All the stuff I've been reading says that small eggs tend to hatch earlier and large ones later, and that is proving to be true with my bunch. The ones hatching so far are some smaller EEs while the larger Australorps are still sitting pretty. So maybe that has something to do with it?
