New York mini chickenstock 2016

I understand where you are coming from. The eggs in my bator are wheaten ameraucana from signature feathers aka peachick on BYC and known for their color. I also know you are looking for a mature rooster. My eggs have almost 2 more weeks until hatch. I'm sure someone on here has what you need.

Oh yeah!! PM me if you want raspberry or blackcap starts. I also have apple tree's that have starter shoot on them this year so if your interested let me know on those as well.

I'm getting excited. I've got eggs and chicks coming woohoo!!! I have lots of coop space just begging to have chicks in it. I also have a big empty run that looks sad, there is actually green stuff growing in it.

[/IMG]This is my pullet hatched late Jan from my Legbar hen x my EE roo (he was also hatched from a blue egg, his mom was Am & dad Icelandic)

My SIL will probably be joining us. Please send Welsummer requests to me. No adults available but eggs or chicks if we set them in time.

She has muffs, pea comb, & green legs. This is an example of the CL/EE chicks i hatch.
The roosters dont look like her, very colorful. I also dont have CL/EE roos this age, but have chicks im keeping and can hatch chicks.
I also have 2 adult black/silver green egg roos but i wouldnt recommend them to anyone needing the blue egg gene because they were given to me.
The ones Im hatching as well as the ones in my grow out pen are of my own creation so I know what they are made of:)

I agree there, I'm not keeping any roos that are from green eggs or might have the brown egg gene- it ruins the blue. Surprisingly many ppl I've talked to don't realize that. I'm only keeping blue egg roos or that have white egg in their background along with blue, but mostly blue to blue.

This is a roo we might be keeping cuz hes so pretty, but hes out of a brown Leghorn egg by my main EE roo. So he could throw blue or white egg hens. These are not the chicks ill be hatching for chickenstock, if I do that is. Actually Ill only be hatching if there's a request because Im full up on chicks:)

@Susieq2015
If you can bring some EE/CL chicks to chickenstock, I'd like some. How much each? I'm thinking at least 6, maybe more.
Depends on what others have, as I'd like to get EEs from several of you.

I actually don't have any blue layers at the moment, most are more of a "khaki" green as I call it. Only a few light green layers left & they're getting older now. It doesn't matter if they lay blue or green eggs, I just want the extra genetic diversity since it's been several years since I had my original EEs that the current green egg genes came from.

Yep, I can, I can even bring you the egg shells they hatch from so you can be sure its what you are looking for. I know I would have appreciated that when I've gotten chicks in the past. Oh and not very much, was still looking to get just a little to put towards a cpl dark layers if anyone has them to add to my egg colors. Well I do have just a cpl now but figured a cpl more won't hurt. Oh off subject just a little, my avatar pic is one of the sisters to the previously posted roo, so a brown Leghorn/ EE mix and not what you'll be getting. Anyhow think this is my favorite cross so far, love those big doey eyes, her snowy white head, and pretty patterened feathers- I can't wait to see what her and her sisters lay. I hope it's blue but I'm OK with white too, heck the family loves the white eggs too. They are all quite friendly and curious as well (the CL/EE too), when I get the chance to sit up by their pen and let em out they don't hesitate to hop up on my knee, or back, etc, lol:)

Do any of you drink dandelion wine? Or have you ever? I figured I have a billion of them growing in my yard why not try to make it. Is it similar in taste to a sweet desert wine or a dry wine? If I make it would anyone like some?
