Chicken Girl....I don't think you got any Silkies?  I just got 3 new girls.
One blue and white paint, and one brownish paint, and one black.
They are adorable.

I remember you inquiring about Silkies.  AND Rancher calls them Aliens.
And says they are not Chickens.  They are adorable chickens for us and 
we love them...and have a flock of just Silkies.  Regards, Aria

the alien critters were not actually for me . Someone is trying to start a silkie project and was looking for an exact color/type. I'm still not sold on silkies.

Anyone interested in some cockerels from the Easter hatch? Hubby seen one of the silver spitz crow last weekend and I watched the black merault (sp) this morning. Hatched them from PhoredaBurds eggs. Also have a silver Wyandotte or two and a barnyard mix.

Hi all! I have been a member for quite some time and have learned volumes from this site. I guess I never verified my account so I'm probably showing up as a newbie. This is my first post. Anyway, I just learned about this from one of my peeps on facebook. I live about 2 hours away. I am an incubating addict! I have hatched out lots of birds. My plan all along was to sell at our local TSC swap next week and whatever I had left I would be taking to the Twin Tie Poultry Club Auction in Bath which is May 14th. Now I find out that there is a Chickenstock!! So, this is what I have. I also will be putting Lavender Silkie eggs into the incubator from my own stock this weekend and probably next weekend. Please let me know if you want to purchase any of my birds. I can bring them with me to Chickenstock or can meet if you are coming to the Bath auction on 5/14.

2 - Nine month old Bielefelder trios - 1 roo, 2 hen laying well. Great birds and they lay XL to jumbo eggs.

Pullets (females) 2 month old Barnevelder $12

Pullets (females) 6 week old Speckled Sussex $12
Pullets (females) 6 week old Welsummer $12

Straight Run (male/female) 4 week old Buff Orpington $5 ea,
Straight Run (male/female) 4 week old Easter Eggers $5 ea
Straight Run (male/female) 4 week old Welsummer, Silkie, Cream Legbar mixes $3 ea.

1 week old Marans chicks! they are all pure Marans just a mix of colors. The roosters are blue/black/splash and blue Wheaten over blue Wheaten, Wheaten and blue/black/splash hens 6 for $30 or 12 for $50.

1 week old Frizzle black mottled bantam Cochin 6 for $30 or 12 for $50

also have mallard ducklings and muscovies sitting now so will have ducklings from those as well.

Welcome! There's a swap in horseheads at the TSC. I'd be interested in lavender silkies. I have a porcelain hen with too much buff coloring so I need a lav or lav split roo to get a better porcelain color.
