New York State: who is working on chicken laws?

Please help me! I need to contact the communities in NY state that are actively working on chicken laws, or have recently passed them. (Working on, in the sense that the board or government is involved in it already.) If you've heard of a community, whether that effort is going well or poorly I would like to talk to them. I appreciate your help!

Bumping this ... who else in NY state is working on chicken laws? Also, if you know of someone in the Canandaigua area who has experience with urban chickens and might be willing to come talk and help dispel some of the usual myths about disease, vermin, avian flu and the usual nonsense ... could you drop me a note?
