Hello,

Backyard chicken keeper here. Last year I got my flock which consists of a Faverolles rooster and my hens: sultan, buff orpington, Brahma bantam, barred rock, and some "sapphire eggers". We are just hatching our first chicks from our own eggs. Looking forward to Future discussions.

Welcome Jaydier. There's so much to learn & share here. My 1st time broody just hatched her chickies, they are doing so well & are now 6 wks old (seem much bigger than all the incubator ones, they're certainly wiser). I'm so proud of them, you'd think that I had set them myself. Have fun with your growing flock. Best wishes.
