Thiefpouters, thanks for pointing that out. I hate to give bad information and for some reason it didn't compute to me that the OP's birds are pouters.
I tried mixing pellets into my mix and lost two pouters worth alot. I know dry areas (Arizona and the like) pellets for pouters work fine. If you live in a humid area I would stay away from them. Those are nice pouter
Thank you all for your information. I have been working with these guys everyday and I finally got them to eat out of my hand yesterday. They are really sweet birds. I never would have thought pigeons would be so personable.
