Hey so i got a new drake awhile ago over a year old. Hes nice to the ducks and hasnt raped a single one yet. But he fights me. HATES me.

So tonight i whent to put them in the coop (odd night they wanna stay up) and he jumped at me and i kicked his butt. In a dominance way not an actual butt kicking way.

I held him down pinched the skin on his neck. held him for a couple minutes

I let him up and he turned around and laid his head in my lap! Haha iam shocked!

Thaught ide share i couldnt beleive it

(Hes muddy its been raining for 5 days )

Haha thats funny. He jumped at me and out of instincts i pinned him lmao. his face was priceless he knew the game was on then. While the others watched

Gonna be some happy ducks today when they get out of bed. my entire yard is crawling with salamanders. i hope too many wont kill them cause they will be eating too many!

Oh my gosh mine would be in ducky heaven if they woke up to that. I’d have thought too cold for them this time of year I bet ours are hiding low now can’t even find an earth worm

Yeah its been freezing and lower for almost a week and today it was about 60 degrees out at 5am and it pulled the salamanders right out!
