Newbie City Duck Owner!! Need advice!

I'm assuming you have a heat lamp for the light as well? I just use a bigger tote for my brooder.

The grey tub the stuff is sitting on is what we will use... Sorry hard to see... And yes we have a lamp! Anything else you notice?

No but if you search the thread someone posted a way of keeping the ducklings water and brooder cleaner. I think they made an extra layer around the waterer, using a frisbee or something?

Also, hopefully you get answers from another user. My duck brooder knowledge is limited because I got my ducks at 6 months old, my brooder knowledge is all recent from my chicks! I am getting my ducklings in 5 days =)

I did want ask about your swimming plans. I read they can go swimming at a day old if your there to supervise and its for a SHORT period of time (they can get waterlogged and drown), then dry them off... or you can wait til they feather out. I'm planning on letting mine swim if they want to (with supervision). I'll probably use the tub with 6 of them =)
