Newbie eggs question

I went to a animal sale yesterday and got 2 guinea. The guy said they were two load (duh) and gave them to me for $5. Just in case there is more wrong with them they are away from my chickens. He said that he never caged them but till they learn where home is they are in my future chicken coop. They are not happy and are very stressed pasing like crazy. Yesterday based on lots of you tube videos and the noises they were making I thought I had a boy and a girl but today I am not so sure- I had a soft egg with no shell and a regular egg. Do i definitely have two girls or could this be stress related or have to do with the soft egg?

Due to stress, a bird can sometimes lay one normal egg and one soft egg. Good luck with your guineas!

Guinea hens will make a call that sounds like they are saying "buck---wheat" over and over. The soft egg may be from stress, and should become normal within time. I would keep them locked up in their new coop for at least a few weeks.
