Hi all,
We are soon to be new mummies to 3 baby chicks hatched 16th July at my sons kindy! Dont really have a clue about baby chicks as my parents only ever bought home chickens that were laying already so a new adventure for all of us. We have our cage for inside all ready to go with heat lamp and they are supposed to come with food and shavings for their box so hopefully all ready for their arrival (except for marbles to purchase to put in their water bowls as i have read they can drown at this age)
I pick up their new coop on the weekend (was planning on building one eventually, however wasnt expecting to get chickens so soon) so have purchased a small size one that i can extend at a later date when needed!
Look forward to reading everyones tips and tricks
Amanda
