Hello everyone,
I'm from the Isle of Wight, which is a small island to the south of the UK, and due to the economic climate I have decided to become as self sufficiant as possible, including raising my own chickens. As part of our plan we have built a geodesic dome out of locally sourced bambo which will be covered in chicken wire for their run (which will be portable) & I have aquired some lovely pallets & intend to make a coop for about 6 chickens, then I will be securing the garden so that as much as possible they can run free range. It is reasonably rural where we live with lots of hungry foxes around.I am wanting to use permaculture techniques wherever possible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks, Ali
