from Colorado. Good luck with your babies!!! I wish my chicks were that friendly. I have handled them from day one and they still scatter when I go in the coop!!!!
 
Welcome form N.W. TN. Are you getting as wet as we are? I think i'm gonna grow gills next time I have to go outside. It's flooding around here too. Thank goodness we live on a hill. We may not be able to go anywhere before long but we won't have to worry like alot of others about our homes flooding.

Por chooks can't say that though. The rain runs right down hill towards their coop. The ground is so soaked even where the rain can't get to has the ground so wet they're walking in mud.

We are working on predator proofing the coop before we move the girlies outside and we want to build a lil more of a "play area" for them.

I too will grow some gills if this rain keeps up!!!! My 5 yr old keeps singing every song he can think of about rain...I believe some of which he creates his own lyrics!
