Thanks all for the well wishes on the hatch. This is such an awesome site! Happy to belong to the group!
I'm trying to follow the guidelines. Day 18 began about 3 hours ago, at about 10 PM in NY. Thankfully, NO power outages for our area!
I candled the eggs to see where the most air is and placed them with the uppermost portion of the air sack into a Styrofoam egg carton with little bottom pieces cut out. Temp is lowered from 99.5 to about 98.5F. Humidity is at 41%. I'm giving another day without turning because about 1/2 of the air sacks are dipping and about 1/2 of the air sacks are still round. No indication of little beaks coming through yet, or peeps, so I don't want to drown any of them! Any suggestions are warmly welcomed!
