Finally ended up with 12 hatches out of 15 eggs. One has a spraddled leg and probably won't make it. Number 13 is still struggling in the shell at day 24. (Yes ,I assisted it a little bit) But 12 or 13 out of 15 is not a bad ratio for an abject newbie.

There are some great articles and threads on straddled leg on this site. I think you can save that one with little trouble. Good luck! I'd look some up for you, but I'm on a funky little tablet at the moment. But, easy to go to forums and search straddled leg.

I ended up with about 10 healthy chicks. It was real fun. I've learned a lot and am going to try it again in a few weeks.
