Thank you for the suggestions! Meyer is sending a viramin and electrolyte powder to add to their water, but I'm really not sure how far it'll go. So I'll definitely want to have more on hand before they arrive.Hiya, and welcome to BYC!

More often used as prevention than first aid, but I'd start with a bottle of Poultry Cell vitamins and something for probiotics. We have Poultry Cell and Nutri-Drench for an occasional vitamin boost, and Hydro-Hen we use for probiotics if I'm not fermenting grains. That's also got electrolytes in it, so is dual-purpose.

I don't give chicks more than one day of vitamins in a row, though, as too much will cause diarrhea. Usually once their first couple of days, then again a week later, or if any are looking a bit sluggish.
Oh that's good to know, thank you! I probably would've added it to their water each day until it was gone unless the directions said otherwise. It's so great to get tips from those who know what they're doing!
