Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

The ducklings the day we got them, about 2 weeks ago.

The same ducks about 4 days ago.

Our chicks when they were delivered Monday.

The new puppy, Jack, the "chicken/duck/turkey guard".

The finished chicken coop (you should've seen what we started with!).

The bird pen.

One of my snakes, timber rattlesnake. I've had this one for 11 years since it was a baby.

Western diamondback rattlesnake I just got last summer.

Broadbanded copperhead I've had 2 years now.

I love your photos! Those ducks are adorable, and so is your puppy! What a great choice for a babysitter. I am rather terrified of poisonous snakes, but I must say, that copperhead is beautiful. Only when it's in the cage, haha. And you got such a wealth of chicks - how on earth are you going to find enough time to snuggle them all? You better get your family to help you.
