Newbie in Gilroy, CA - already obsessed

Hi - I think I already need a 12 step program for this

I have assorted chickens - most of them rescued from other folks. Then I ran into a silkie roo that was running around the feed store getting beat up by the others. I asked to take him home, and he is the most amazing "lap" chicken. I bring him into the retirement home to visit my mother in law and call him a therapy chicken.

I have tons of other critters - 3 clydesdales, 4 assorted dogs, 2 cats and a spur thigh tortoise. Oh i forgot - a very LOUD OBNOXIOUS goffin cockatoo. Oh, yeah, a hubby too

We let "Elvis" the silkie walk around the rest home - this one old woman just kept saying "That AINT no Chicken!!!"

it was pretty funny how he was strutting around with those fluffy feet.....

I just ordered some beautiful lemon blue cochin eggs ! Can't wait
