Do you work up on the Slope? My DH did. He worked for Arco, I think, it could have been BP.

Yes, in the Kuparuk oil field. I work in the lab, have a degree in Wildlife Biology and worked for the Alaska Fish and Game for a short time.

There is not much going on in Homer as far as comerce. Working on the Slope allows me to live in Homer and have a decent income.
