Newbie in Maple Ridge b.c

Good morning!
I'm a newbie from Canada. I live with several orpingtons, a buttercup, a barnvelder, a sl Wyandotte, 2 welsummers, a speckled Sussex and 3 ee's.

I have recently joined the local poultry club and got my first incubator for Christmas. I am hoping to breed and sell chicks and eggs soon I stared with a collection so I could tell them apart lol

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I've had all of your breeds at one time or another (except the Buttercups) over the years, and you have some great breeds. I've raised Buff Orpingtons for years (still have some in my flock), and they are very hardy, friendly and gentle (my children, and now my granddaughter, made lap pets of them), and good layers of large, brown eggs. Easter Eggers are my granddaughter's (pictured in my avatar) favorites. She loves their colored eggs. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Getting different breeds is a good idea on two counts, first you can tell them apart .Second you may find one or two breeds meet your needs better than the others.
