Newbie- Question about new chick

Hi, our first chicks hatched Monday and I have a question about one of them. She is totally dry and fluffy, walking around and chirps but She is breathing heavy and kinda keeps her head down. I am worried about her, is there anything I can do for her?

She could have some mucus in the lungs from hatching. Make sure she is drinking and do keep an eye on her. Also if you handle her some she might stay active enough to expel anything in the lungs assuming that is her problem. Plus it give you time to bond.

The more you handle them the tamer they will be. I always wash my hands good first.

Is you chick eating and drinking good? Is your brooder light where the chick can cool off if it gets to hot?
