My DH built the 4x8 coop while we had the babies in our basement. They outgrew their living arrangements before the coop was finished. DH then stopped building the coop and quickly built their 8 x 8 run. They lived in that in a large box until coop was finished. The run usually sits in front of the coop with an opening from the coop door. Our meaties slept in the run while the others slept in the coop. We have 9 Red Stars (?) and 3 Idunno's. Our run is now separated from the coop with our 14 newest meaties. Oh help me, we need another coop, as we have 17 new babies in our basement. Stop the insanity! lol
