Hi everyone,

ok... I hope this question isn't too
tongue2.gif

if you only have one incubator, and 2 hens laying here and there, so your collecting eggs at random dates.... How do you deal with lock-down?

thank in advance for the help,
Terri, Kung Pao, Sesame and Ginger

they should be turned a minimum of 2 weeks to keep from sticking. normally a couple days wont hurt but i upped my humidity to 65 till one day before the first ones were due then 70. they hatched out over a period of 4 days. that is the longest time i have stretched out a hatch

So, what I am wondering is can I have different hatch dates for eggs incubating in the same incubator?
If I stick a batch in one week and then a second batch a week or so later...
Can I still get away with opening the incubator to turn eggs that still need to be turned even when I am not turning eggs that are on lock-down?
