Newbie here from Nolensville TN. Starting a new coop with baby chics in a couple of weeks. I look forward to using this to further my knowledge on keeping my coop up to par! Thanks in advance for all your help.

Hi and

from KY! I can't help but wonder if it will be like winter or spring in a few weeks...the weather has been unpredictable here.

I think you'll find that there are many helpful people here as well as great resources, like those in the Learning Center: https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. Glad you joined the BYC community and best to you in your chicken raising adventure!

Welcome!

You might want to also pop in and say hello on your local thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you ‘Find your State’s thread.

Best wishes to you and your little ones when they arrive.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends

Have fun with your upcoming new chicks and don't forget to take lots of pictures...they grow very fast.

Best of luck to you!
