(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes! I have chickens and ducks!!!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

5 chickens and 3 adult ducks and a newly hatched duck

(3) What breeds do you have?
Chicken- Blue Laced Red front Wyndote
Ducks- Mallard

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

i just love my animals! So I just enjoy watching them ans taking care of them

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Horse back riding, fishing and writing

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I am a high school Business Education teacher, I have two daughters... I own horses, dogs, pot-bellies, ducks, chickens and parrots

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I did a google search!
 
Thank you! I have a ton of eggs from my female duck! She has laid almost 40 eggs!!!! I have a baby that I believe is in trouble and may be seeking some advice!
It attempted to make three externals pips with no hole... so I carefully made a hole from the pips... it had been close to the 24 hour mark! It hasn’t done anything since then... it looked like it was trying, but appeared not be able to reach! I removed some of the shell as it is close to 48 hours since it’s sibling has hatched! Maybe you can help??? It is breathing much better now... not a rapid pant or appearing to be gasping... can’t really tell if it is shrieked wrapped.. humidity is at 80%
