Welcome! Good breed choice, my barred rocks are very friendly and the one that has started laying, lays like a machine! Cuddle them lots and talk to them and they will be friendly and talkative. Mine especially loved being in a cuddle puddle tucked under my chin all together.
So ive been looking on here for quite a while before joining. I am gonna copy "wichita coop/the palace/boisemarkers coop. got my dimensions and a spot in the yard. do you know where any of these coops have a materials list i can custom?Im gonna look at some coop designs, any tips?
Branches?Wood is best for traction and a non-conductive material. About 1.5-2.5" either flat with corners rounded off or round is good. I use ripped in half/rounded off 2x4s in the coop and natural branches in the run.
oh ok, so coop and run should be different?Branches?
