Hi ya all!
This is my third attempt hatching some if my friends bantoms eggs. I put them in a box with a light bulb but had no device to turn on and off the light. The temp was good but the bulb failed. Second time I had a device for light and fan but we had a power cut. 3rd time lucky we ! We have three so far. I think there is only one more. It's been chirping but there is no break hole in the egg for air. I worried it will run out of air. It's been chirping I would say since 7 this morning about 14 hrs. I think it's going to be another interrupted sleep.lol They started at 5 am to wake me up. Should I drill a hole?

:welcome Welcome aboard and thanks for joining us! As for whether or not to try and help a chick hatch out, during the times I've incubated eggs, the pipping process took up to and even more than 24 hours. I know it's tempting to try and help speed the process up or to help the chick get some oxygen to breath, but I'm a proponent for allowing nature to take it's course..that's just me. Others can tell you to offer assistance, and I see nothing wrong with it, but again, that's just me.
