Newly addicted

Welcome to the BYC Wytchcat. That was a hard loss . You sound like a tougher than average person . Glad you have such amazing strength . Some would give up and run back to the city . We lost our home and all we had in a fire when I was in high school . It was really hard for my parents .Friends and family came to or aid . I pray only good falls in your lap and a smile always shines in your eyes . Keep us posted on the incubation and the hatch .

LOL .. my ongoing saga? Well, the person I was buying the land from knew going in I am a freelance web designer. And maybe it's me but if someone showed up 5 days after a catastrophic fire, I would probably cut them a bit of slack on the timeliness for the first few payments.

My seller was not of the same mind... and waited until I had almost 6k worth of equity on a 35k note to break contract over a 10 day late payment.

Luckily I hadn't started building.. only repaired the well house install at that point and the cabin is portable (if by portable you mean $650 to move it 90 miles) So August I went with a company that does land sales (and who I LOVE) and moved to the land I'm on now.

I have the start of my barnipini in and I'm hoping to find a hardship loan sometime soon so I can get a vehicle, a fridge and fencing.. in that order.

So it sounds like the seller was not nice at all. Its a shame they couldn't of given you a month to get things straight and rolling once again.

I am glad you ended up with a piece of property that you can call your own. I hope it's better then the other place. lol
