Newly hatched chick bleeding? Help!

Our first chick just hatched and seems to be bleeding, but it didn't seem to be connected to the shell anymore when it came out, so I'm not sure what's going on. Someone help please!

I just saw this. So sorry you didn't get a quick response.

I don't know that I can be much help as I have only done one hatch. Is there lots of blood? Or is it mostly "staining" as it lays on the towels or eggs? My chicks had that some and it alarmed me. Also, one did drag a shell around for a bit. The first one to hatch had a bit of bloody stuff in the shell and on her, but I don't think she was actively bleeding.
