Newly hatched chick has blob of stuff!

Newly hatched chick has blob of stuff from bottom. Can anyone tell me what that is? I now have a small amount of blood in my incubator. I have separated him from the other 2 but I have 2 others that havent hatched yet. Thank you in advance.

Isolate it, and keep it calm. Don't feed, or give it water, until it's 3 days old. Keep it warm.

I have it separated from the others. Keeping fingers crossed he does ok. Not sure what actually happened. I woke up and he/she was here.

What can I use to help keep it warm?

Don't you have a brooder set up? You can put it in a smaller plastic container, inside your brooder. That way it's still with the others, but they can't get to it.

I put it in a small bowl keeping it separated. It didn't make it thru the night. Thank you for your advice.

I'm sorry it didn't make it. Sometimes that happens, even with the best of care.
