I'm sure somebody has has feathers that they could send you. It's the wrong time of year here for collecting feathers. They normally moult and it's a good time to collect feathers that have been shed. It's not encouraged to pluck feathers from the birds just to use them for making fishing lures. You could go to the for sale threads and post that you want feathers and surely sombody has some to offer you. I did have but donated them to a lady that does projects with kids. I think silkie feathers would make good flys. My grandson said he uses feathers from the yard to make flies. I have mostly silkies so we normally have alot of small fluffy feathers flying around the yard and I collect the best cleanest ones thru the summer. I just don't have any now.

If you are talking about genetic hackle birds, I dont know of anyone with them around me. Onagadori on here has some longtails and some other breeds, and is selling some birds, they are in N Texas.

If thats the feathers your wanting I also know somebody that has some Phoenix. They are from a local poultry club. I can contact him and ask if he has any hackle feathers on hand.
