I spent my vacation at an expensive place paid for partially by my medical insurance (3 brief hosp stays actually). The service was great, meals in bed and they even bring you a bed pan!! Now I'm confined indoors while my yard and garden goes to pot and my hubby grudgingly takes care of the chickens. After reading your post I suddenly am not so depressed!!!!
Seriously, I hate you had a bad experience but you were sweet to see the humor in it all and share it with us.
So glad you've found humor in it, as I know the rest of us have! You NEED to print all that out and keep it safe somewhere. You can include it in a future book
We've had vacations like that. The worst experience was the part where we're driving US 395 northbound near Barstow and the tread from one of the trailer tires pulls out and passes us. I love the way you found humor in your experience; if AAA hadn't arrived for us when it did I might have become a self made widow.
If all of that happpened for real, you have my condolences. If not, you have a heck of an imagination-- have you considered writing for a living. Thanks for the giggles.
Poor dear. When I was on college I took a road trip like that. We ended at the hospital when my date came down with 3rd degree sun burns (his skin was litterling blistering as he sat there). I now skip all roadtrips.
